Planning to be in Rome in October for two days. Looking a hotel a few steps from Vatican reasonable. They are also some of the most important monuments and tourist can not miss then to Rome for a short time? Very useful responses so far! Coronado Hotel is located just one block from the Vatican. If you do not mind the small room Olympic Hotel is approximately 4 blocks houses and have a breakfast buffet. Be sure to visit the Colosseum and the Forum, which are next to each other and when I had a two for one ticket. If you like museums, but I do not want to go through a long control pay the Palatine Museum, which is also next to the Forum. San Pedro is a walk through and it's free, all the churches.
