What is a Roman forum, why is it important? What Roman Coliseum, and why important? What is a semicircular arches, and why is it important? What is a cornerstone, and why is it important? What is an aqueduct, and why is it important? Is a viaduct, and why is it important?

Forum – public space where people gathered, socialized, listened to speeches COllusseum politicians – the slang word for the Flavian Amphitheater, where the brutal entertainment occurred, as gladiatorial combat, killing animals for criminals, drills Wed Arcos battle – part of a building to a great height with small weight of the stone. In addition, the long row of arches that people come and go very quickly Coliseum Keystone – part of an arc. Aqueduct – a canal built in stone, to carry water from one place to another. Famous in many photos, it still works, is in Segovia, Spain. Viaduct – A road (for cars, horses and people who travel on foot), I think.

What can we deduce from the life of Roman times through the study of the Colosseum?

What conclusions can be drawn from the Roman life through the study of the Colosseum?

It reveals much about Roman society. First, its huge. This tells us that the Colosseum was built by the institution Government, in this case, the Roman government. With this basic fact, one wonders why. The best reason would be that the Roman emperors used the structure of several things, a good party shows the wealth and create social capital, shows that the emphasis was on entertainment / distract the masses of Roman social, political and economic. We said that Roman citizens were skillfully manipulated by the Roman emperors. If the determination of the concept is proven by the same Colosseum, you can take this concept and apply it to many other facets of Roman society to fill in the blanks.
